We are a collective educational resource for seniors, their families, and their caregivers. In collaboration with the Western Piedmont Council of Government’s Area Agency on Aging, SIR has successfully grown into a 100+ member organization!

Our members represent businesses, agencies, and organizations, whether for-profit, non-profit, governmental, or private, whose purpose, products, and services can enhance the needs of the senior population of our region.

Our world is changing demographically as the baby boomer generation ages—some 8,000 a day turn 65. They are interested not only in quality health care, but in using their dollars to enhance their healthy life styles. SIR is posed to connect them to the resources they need.

We host monthly network meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month—an opportunity to mingle with each other and to participate in various educational presentations.

SEE WHAT WE HAVE PLANNED!

SIR has established a semi-annual Prime of Life Expo showcasing community products and services focused directly at our community’s seniors. We have also sponsored an annual Prime of Life publication which is full of senior-related articles written by our members.

As Americans, we are obligated to help others and improve our communities. Join SIR and help those who came before us–our parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, and uncles. They gave all for us, and we love them for it.
