PROGRAM VISION STATEMENT

The Senior Advocacy & Ambassador Program is dedicated to advocating for the needs of our senior community through collaborations with local organizations and stakeholders. The committee will contribute to the mission of the SIR Network by striving to address critical community needs of the aging demographic and work to allocate the Network resources in a focused, effective and responsible manner.

The SSAP has two tiers of service:

Ambassador Program: As part of the SAAP, the Ambassador Program will contribute to the mission of the SIR Network by including members of the senior community in the Network operations, planning and funding opportunities. The Ambassadors will provide feedback to the Network and support the SIR Network within the community.

Advocacy & Support: As part of the SAAP, the Support Funds Program will contribute to the mission of the SIR Network by providing direct support to the aging demographic and/or programs that directly service seniors through monetary or resource sponsorship. This is separate from Event Sponsorships
